    Sadly, this year has claimed yet another great - Gene Wilder has passed away at the age of 83. Fantastic actor, who I have loved in many roles since childhood (Willy Wonka, Silver Streak, Blazing Saddles...) - so sad.

    RIP Sir, and thank you for many (many) laughs and happy times.

      Oh my, I missed any news of this until this thread. I felt an instant pang of regret and loss as he was one of those actors that I really liked instantly and enjoyed his films where he just made me laugh and smile so much.
