I think she looks good actually. Not polished, still looks like herself and I bet she feels the biz. A bit of make up and a new hairdo does wonders!

Well, what do you know! - another clip of Susan Boyle when she
was about 22 years old I would think.

 

Not bad-looking, wasn't she?
Makes me even more inclined to think that she might have overdone the plain-Jane image for the effect it created. Good luck to her if it gets her what she wanted! She's obviously an old trooper.

 

Having watched Miss Boyle go through last night after another fantastic performance I can't help but think that the 'Simple spinster from up north' image is something of a fake.

Her talent goes without saying but I think she knows just how talented she is and her reaction to the result was somewhat cringeworthy, I would even go so far as to say that her confidence will soon turn into arrogance and the public will quickly turn on her.

Having said that, her talent should win her the competition and I have no doubt that the Queen and Prince Phillip would love to meet her.

 

Just watched it and I think the young Hollie is a sure winner in my books ... both me and t'other half had tears ... he's soppy and can often do so but I don't .... hard woman that I am.

Having shuffled everyone around umpteem times, I think we've agreed Susan is second and third is either Shaheen or the 17 year old .. can't think of his name .... Shaun perhaps? But we both also like Diversity .... ace performance and choreography .... could be winners!
