      What a hot, dry summer we've had, and are still having. All over Spain there have been record temperatures for September - we've had highs of around 35ºC every day for the last two weeks, which I've certainly never seen in the 24 years I've lived here. The countryside is scorched, and the trees are starting to look like they do at the end of October. Thankfully, it looks set to change tomorrow, with a drop of around 10ºC and the chance of some rain. Fingers crossed!

        Dull, grey, but warm [68f] all day with a gusty, stiff, Westerly breeze. I managed to find a sheltered spot in the garden and sat with a mug of tea tracking down and marking with tags some Stars in the pages of a Star Atlas...not a bad way to spend time ready for the seemingly rare clear evening skies. So, at the moment, it's still cloudy and dull skies with that ever present breeze, the temperature is 67f and the pressure reading is 1016mbs.:coffee::snork:

                  Yet more cloud. The hills to the west of us release their moisture to the atmophere as soon as the day warms up resulting in cloud hanging in our valley.10 miles down the road the valley flattens out and so theres more sunshine there. annoying !
