ID please

    These come up every year in the garden and we have no idea what they are. Im certain there not, but they are tall enough to be some type of sunflower.
    Any idea what they are?

    It looks more like an Osteospermum to me Nigel.

    the closed buds look like coreopsis.. only know this as I grew them from seed this year.

        Quite right Cinnamon, or a very close relative. Definately a Helianthus.:)
