I'm new to gardening and I want a greenhouse.
I'm limited on space and the only option I have, if I want a 6x6, is to site a greenhouse with one side up against the wooden boards between us and the neighbours. Would this be a good idea or should I go for a smaller model and leave a gap between the boards and the greenhouse?
All help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

It's clear. Sooo.... really it will be transparent material with lovely green stuff inside :)

Just make sure whatever you set up, mount it on boards or bricks so that you can create gaps to feed irrigation and power accesses.

    :)

I would leave a gap between a standard 4 sided greenhouse and any fence otherwise it will be very difficult to install the glass and perform any future maintenance on the fence or weed etc.

An alternative would be a lean-to type and incorporate the fence as the rear wall - that raises the questions of what sort of fence is it and who owns it and are there any plants growing up it already from your neighbour's side?

      Thanks.
We've talked it over and have decided to compromise on the size and have a gap between our fence and the greenhouse. Like you mentioned John, hubby pointed out that there needs to be room for maintenance etc.
Looks like something smaller but that's better than nothing!
