Morning folks. Today I plan to sit on my butt drinking coffee eating cadburys dairy milk and watching copious amounts of Sky TV junk.
But no doubt something will crop up that will knock that idea on the head.
    Have a fruitfull day Y`all!

        Afternoon all :spinning:

Blimey, it's been one of those mornings. I just turned around to find my dog Lulu with a friend-
the puppy that belongs to garden behind me, the little bxxxxr had scraped away the
stuff on their side and broke through the bottom of the fencing, just as well
my landlord has decided to put a new fencing up with concrete along the bottom. He
won't be too happy with the people, even though they know about the new fencing, she
was not very apologetic when I called over the fence, asking was she missing her dog.:nonofinger: 20161022_122538.jpg

Suffice to say, Lulu is covered in mud, goodness know how long she was having a 'good
time'. Now she is crying to go out. Here is her photo, as if butter would not
        melt.

        Have a good weekend.:imphrt:

          Aloha everyone,

I'm not doing much in the garden now as I have been barred from any bending . nothing to do with my back problems :noidea:. I now have an eye condition that doesn't allow any bending or sudden movement. Hopefully it will only take a few weeks to resolve but I may be out of commission for the rest of the year. I feel fine :blue thumb: but fed up!

For as long as I can remember I've had tiny 'floaters' in my eyes. They've never been much bother and the optician could never see them as they were so fine. Yesterday my left eye got worse and I could see a faint squiggly black circle around one eye. Not when looking into a mirror for it, but when looking out of my eye. It's too fine to be seen even with the optician's equipment but she could just see a faint outline of it.

This isn't really a problem but I also had a 'floater' in the middle of the eye which looks a bit like a jellyfish, doesn't impair the vision but tends to look a bit wobbly when I move my eye. She was able to see this and said it's a 'partial vitreous detachment'. She says that it's not normally a problem but it's usually attached to the eye (inside the eye) at three points. Two points on the outer edge and one on the retina. The two outer points have detached and it's only attached at the retina.

She says that it is quite common and usually comes away from the retina as well after a few weeks. If I do anything strenuous or a lot of bending down and standing up it may cause it to tear away and then it can be nasty. So I shall not be doing a lot in the garden until then. If my vision starts to get worse or a get a shadow across the eye I must go to A&E immediately :hate-shocked:

On the up side, :heehee: the play last night was excellent. It was a satirical show taking the pee out of The X Factor and similar shows. It's called Factor 2025 and was a dramatization from a book and a West End hit.

An excellent show (some bad language) but not as well attended as it should have been.

I may do some lawn trimming as it doesn't involve any bending. It's surprising how much bending we actually do. Last night a cushion fell on the floor and I automatically went to pick it up. I forgot that I had to do it slowly

Keep well and have a great day

          Aloha!

            Morning early people :)

Blimey Shiney, you take it easy and get that eye better :hate-shocked:

Demand a ransom next time @liliana :heehee:

@"M" and @WeeTam, don't go getting fat now

Off to lunch here today, it's a hard life, but somebody's got to do it

            Have a good day everyone:spinning:

              @Zigs Enjoy your lunch. :Wino:

I've just spent the last 20 minutes taken the computer mouse apart and cleaning it. The cursor hadn't been obeying it and the cleaning has solved the matter. :dbgrtmb:

The sun is out now so it looks as though it will be a nice day.

Morning all, it's a bright and chilly Sunday morning here.

@shiney, hope the eye clears up in time, look on the bright side - if you're not allowed to do any bending work for a while it should give your back a good rest. :)

Glad you enjoyed the play, funnily enough we did the same last night. We went to see a small local amateur company performing a comedy 'potted history of East Anglia' called The History Plays. The venue was an intimate room in a rather grand country house and it was a very entertaining evening.

Mrs Trunky particularly enjoyed the moment where I was picked out and brought to the front for a bit of 'audience participation'. Probably one of the most embarrassing moments of my life if I'm honest, but it certainly made her evening, she was chuckling all the way home (about an hour's drive).

To add further insult, she managed to get a quick photo of my thespian debut on her phone and gleefully shared it with our two daughters as we drove home, much further hilarity ensued as said daughters enjoyed her description of my 'performance'.

I actually know one of the actors who was in the play, he's one of the tree surgeons who we occasionally use at work. I have a suspicion he spotted me in the audience and set me up for it.
I shall be having words next time I see him. :psnp:

Hope everyone is well, have a good day.

Morning all, just popping in before I head off to work.

We've got some hedge cutting planned for today. Looks like a cool, cloudy day here so just right for that job. :)

                      Have a good day everyone.

                        Aloha everyone,

I might get a little pressure hosing done today. We need to clean up around where we have dozens of flowering (or no longer flowering) pots on the patio. I can use the pressure hose with no trouble as I bought an extension for it early in the year. This means that I can do the work without bending. Mrs Shiney will need to move all the pots for me :blue thumb:

I have a very busy bridge week this week with seven sessions in five days. :rolleyespink: (can't do that with my eyes :heehee:).

Keep well and have a great day
