    Hallo

A novice window-box gardener with a question about bulbs...

I had small daffodils in my window box. They've come up, bloomed and now the flowers are all dry and withered now, but the leaves are still very green. I know I can take the bulbs out, dry them out and then plant them again next year, but at what point do I do this? Now? Or do I need to wait until the leaves are all withered and dry as well?

 After my bulbs in containers have finished flowering I feed them while still in the green to give them a boost for next year. That way I find I get a good show of flowers each year. When the leaves begin to yellow I put the pots out of the way on their sides to dry out then remove the bulbs & store until the autumn ready to plant again..:thmb:
