    Hi

I'd like to plant something this weekend for an outside pot. Ideally something highly fragrant and not needing any maintenance.
    Any suggestions??

    Thanks

Fragrant herbs? Lavender, thyme, hyssop, rosemary, majoram. Lots of scent, lots of bees attracted to it and you have the bonus of being able to use the herbs as well.

There are also annuals such as Stock (including night scented) that are highly fragrant.

    Thanks Aaron

I was think along the lines of gypsophila but wasn't sure how well it grows in pots.
If hardy thats fine but if not what else might work?

Don't know about Gypsophilia, but there's always Heliotropium.

If you want flowers now and can find any then wallflowers smell amazing.

I was out shopping the other day and the fruit and veg shop had just put out trays of all of the above , the smell was lovely.
They were lovely healthy big plants and only £2.99 each.

For winter interest you could try Daphne odora or Sarcoccoca. Both are evergreen.:thumb:
