The temperature topped 54f even with a strong and gusty wind averaging 11mph and gusting to 17mpn. It started to rain in the late morning but only softly and being driven by the wind so really not much has hit the ground. The skies have remained cloud covered all day with no sign of the Sun:dunno:
Right now the temperature is 53f, after dropping down to 51f, and the pressure reading is 987hpa.:coffee::snorky:

A sunny with fluffy whites and candid breeze on just a hint of vivacious gustings. 23C :blue thumb:

The Weather Station recorded 52f during the day. It rained gently all day and only 3.6mm was the total for the day, and, of course, it's been dull with grey cloud covered skies and very little breeze. There's no breeze whatsoever at the moment, which might be the quiet before the storm as Storm Dora is on it's way and should arrived sometime early tomorrow morning with possible damaging winds. The temperature at the moment is 45f, it's stopped rained for the moment, and the pressure reading is 985hpa:coffee::snorky:

Not wanting to upset anyone with the name Doris but how do the met office expect us to take a storm named "Doris" seriously?

I think the whole idea of naming Low pressure systems is pretty stupid anyway, but when they come up with names like this it is beyond belief.

After gale force winds last night and through this morning the wind had dropped completely by mid afternoon, that left us with the heavy showers that started last night too. The temperature made it to 4C/39F but it felt a lot colder in the wind.
