      Good day everyone
Sounds like we are all doing just fine. Good :)

It is very cold here and I found it a bit nippy setting out the recycle bins while appropriately dressed in my jammies and croc slip ons :heehee:

It's a good day to stay inside and get the laundry done and hung up to dry and also to do some shopping. I like being out in the van on cold days as I can turn the heat up to blast furnace and it doesn't cost me anything :snorky:

      Have a safe day :)

            Good day everyone
It is still bitterly cold here but it doesn't look as breezy which will make things a little more pleasant.

I've got a couple of granddaughters coming for a visit today and I plan to make some chelsea buns, rhubarb crumble or hot cross buns and have a little tea party. Then we will make soil blocks and the girls can start some seeds of their choice. :) My oldest son has taken up an interest in gardening since helping me out last year and I'm planning on getting him a yard of dirt/soil for a birthday present this summer. I think he will be delighted to get the girls involved in his growing passion. :)

I hope everyone stays safe and warm :)

              Aloha everyone,

We landed yesterday afternoon about 30 minutes early and had a good drive round the M25, so got home in time to go to bridge. After bridge (11.30 p.m.) I stopped off to do all the shopping.

Tom didn't get the computer back until late this morning so we've been dealing with all our emails.

I've got a chicken soup cooking (enough for a week :blue thumb:) and shall be making a chicken and veg stir fry this evening. Sarafi smelled the soup cooking and came round for his chicken wing. :cat-kittyandsmiley: He's now fast asleep on the shelf in the greenhouse.

I need to download the photos. I guess we have about a thousand and at least 800 of them will be rubbish! :snork:

Keep well and have a great day

              Aloha!

Morning all, hope you are all well.

We're going to have another look today at the house we viewed last weekend. We quite liked the place, but want to have another look before we make any firm decision on whether to go further.

The forecast isn't great for today, so I'll probably retreat to the greenhouse later and start my spring seed sowing. :)

Have a good day everyone and enjoy your Sunday.

                        Aloha everyone,

Yesterday was a mild day but they have forecast rain for today. I'm sure that I can find something to do :snork:

@Trunky good luck with the house hunting. Rainy weather is a good time to do it as you see what things are like when it's not at its best. Particularly the amount of natural light that comes in when it's dull outside.

Keep well and have a great day

                        Aloha!

                            Good day everyone
@shiney you reminded me that one of these days I've got to attack my picture files and properly sort, name and file them.

@Trunky I hope your house viewing goes well. Over here, people are afraid to wait more than a day to make a decision as the market is so hot, houses rarely go more than a week before selling. It is sad and makes it so much harder for young people to get into a home.

I've got some baking to do this morning. The man who supplied me the deep cycle batteries likes my baked goods. I still have a supply of currants so I think I will make him a Chelsea bun :)

I hope you all have a safe day :)

Morning all, hope this Monday morning finds you all well.

Good points about looking at the house in rainy weather @shiney and @Zigs. :blue thumb:

We said on the way out there it's a good time to look. I must admit the house doesn't have as much natural light as we'd like, although it could be brightened up with a little redecoration. Rainwater goods all seemed to be ok. The location is far better than where we are now so that's a big plus point and it has a decent sized south facing garden which slopes gently away from the house so that would keep me happy. :)

@CanadianLori - the housing market is fairly frantic in this area too at present - lots of Londoners moving away from the capital with shed loads of money available are driving up the prices, making it hard for us locals to keep up.

We've made them an offer which they've informally accepted, although neither of us are in any hurry to move just yet. They haven't found a place to buy yet and want to take their time looking, that's fine with us as we haven't put our place on the market yet. We know it will sell quickly so we're happy to wait a while until they find what they're looking for.

                              Have a good day everyone.
