    A friend sent this photo to us. I don't know whether it's flowering at this time of year or whether it was taken last year. :dunno:

    I've sent a message asking but no reply yet.

    I hope to get an answer soon.

    Looks like a type of Summer Snowflake (Leucojum aestivum). The leaves the flower stem is coming from are towards the back of the pot :blue thumb:

      I think it looks like a variety of Allium.

        Has it got a triangular stem? If so, might be 3 cornered leek :)

          IMG_0618.JPG Definetley not a three cornered leek and might be as Scrungee says some type of Allium.The photo is the flowers of a three cornered leek...

          Just had a Google and it might be Allium Neopoliatum?

              Thanks everyone. I originally thought it might be It looks similar but I thought that Leucojum or Galtonia but their petals usually have pointed petals.

              @Silver surfer thanks for the detail :dbgrtmb: I'll get him to crush a little bit of a leaf to see whether it smells of Allium. :snork: He has just replied to the original email saying that it's flowering now. :)
