    Aloha everyone,

On our way back from our cousin's birthday gathering the heavens opened and the M25 was flooded for most of the journey. We came out of the downpour about five minutes after leaving the M25 and were home ten minutes later - it was bone dry at home

We'll carry on with getting the garden ready and making more alpine gardens for sale. :blue thumb:

Keep well and have a great day

    Aloha!

Good morning everyone, well Amber was very sick all day yesterday. She seems better this morning and had a couple of sachets of chicken mince. Don't know whether there is a doggy bug going round or she had picked up something off the field. Well the rain certainly reached here.
Have a good day all, stay warm and dry and above all safe and well. God bless. :wub2:

          Good day everyone
It is sunny here and I will be working for part of the day, inside. But it is money in. Been looking everywhere for my drill charger. I have an installation to do tomorrow that is 2 1/2 hours drive each way and out in the boonies with no hardware shops nearby so I need to get this soted before tomorrow. Hope I don't have to buy a new drill

I'm hoping to get time this afternoon to plant out the rest of my pots- margolds that are yellow and brown, black eyed susans and a few other flowers.

          Have a warm day and for you @shiney , I hope it's a wet one. :)

                Aloha everyone,

I've been out in the garden in the warm glow of the sun rising and it is already 65F out there. There are thousands of tiny little black flies about!

We haven't bothered to harden off the beans and have planted out the first 100+ of them. :dbgrtmb: They're growing like mad in the greenhouse and need to go out. We also need the space in there. I shall be delivering some of them to bridge club members tomorrow. One person has ordered his usual 40 plants and we only charge £5 - goes to the charity. :)

Time is running short on getting ready for open day but we're getting there.

Keep well and have a great day

                Aloha!

                    Good day everyone
I had a wonderful day yesterday up until later in the afternoon. I found my charger for my drill in the morning and later when my son came to switch back vehicles, just after he had parked the van, a valve blew out. :doh:So I can't go to my installation today as I need to get the tire repaired first. The good thing is that he wasn't driving when it happened so no one got harmed and as a bonus the tire didn't get damaged.:blue thumb: Also, I am sooo glad this didn't happen to me hours away from home. I shall go on that installation tomorrow.

It it cloudy here and threatening rain any moment so I ran out in my jammies and spread some lawn medicine which requires watering in. Only one neighbour over the road got exposed to my flannelette facade :heehee:

Have a safe day everyone and I hope it rains for those who need it :)

                        Aloha everyone,

Almost exactly the same here in Shineyland :hapydancsmil: - but without the raspberries. :snork:

It's a good day for rain as I shall be out most of the day. One ordinary meeting and two AGMs and I'm chairing all three :phew:. I suppose I had better draft my annual reports for the AGMs

The preparation for Open Day is coming along OK and I'm now into moving hundreds of plants and tidying up everywhere - what a mess there is when we move things!!!

@moyra I hope Amber is better. :doggieshmooze: :grphg:

Good morning everyone, Shiney you have a busy day ahead of you at least the garden is getting watered while you are out. Amber seems to have recovered from her 24 hour bout of sickness. She is fine now.

Morning all, we've had a decent rain here at last, one of the water butts is full and the others are coming along nicely. :hapydancsmil:

We're still in the the throes of trying to arrange a house move, currently trying to line up a buyer for our house after our previous buyers pulled out.

We had a viewing yesterday evening from a family who are looking for somewhere with a good sized garden - you could tell they were keen gardeners as they spent more time outside wandering round the garden than they did inside the house! They seemed quite taken with the place so we'll wait and see what happens. :fingers crossed:

My day off today, might get one or two jobs done in the garden later once the rain eases off.

Hope everyone is well, have a good day.

@moyra I am glad that Amber is better. @shiney I was happy to hear about you finally get some free water :) @Trunky I hope the folks buy your place as it sounds like they'd appreciate your hard work.

I'm off to a cottage (4,000sf -sheesh, not really what I call a cottage!) which is 2 1/2 hours away to install some shutters. I'll take the toll highway part of the way to avoid the maniacs in the morning commute across Toronto and then it's country driving the rest of the way. I pack just about every tool I own because it's too far to pop back home for additional items to handle any unforeseen issues.

                                Have a safe day :)
