WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2017

Cor - that was a korker ! I watched the storms come up from France and through the channel on the radar. No point trying to sleep - the dogs wouldn`t allow any of that. The lightning was constant - like the sun being out on a flicker switch. The lights went out just for a few seconds on the initial explosion of thunder, and as the storm moved away there was a final large explosion of thunder that made me wonder if the house next door had been hit - (it hadn`t)
With last night`s welcome rain, and the humid warm morning, the garden is looking more like a jungle, and everything seems to have grown about a foot taller.....magic!

 

Storms on Friday - lost count of the lightning, constant thunder and lovely heavy, steady rain for about 3 hours which was so welcome after last week's 32-34ºC temperatures every day. The rest of the weekend was cooler and this morning another storm woke us at 6:00 am. Lovely pleasant temperature this morning but more storms forecast for this afternoon.

It`s hard to watch your lovely rain @Marley Farley ...the ground is moving hic!

 

Yesterday was warm with hazy sunshine 22.c/72'f.
Today it has been raining on and off all day nothing heavy though currently 17'c/62'f

 

Hazy sun for the morning and up until around 2pm.
Then got woken up by a few raindrops so scuttled indoors.
Since then just cloudy and warm, and the sun has just come out again but the wind has got up a bit, nothing drastic.
it reached around 25, but was still hovering around the 24 mark all afternoon.

 

''Cor, it`s muggy today'' I said to one of the campers......''Yep,'' he said, ''and tomorrow it will be tueggy, followed by weggy .........honestly what I have to put up with here.

 

Mostly a bright but cloudy day. Like Silu still waiting on some decent rain up here. There's been misty rain this evening for a couple of hours but barely enough to wet the ground. 13C/55F

 

Ok so I got my wish and it rained yesterday and pelted it down most of the night which has put paid to my gorgeous tree Peonies......all in tatters. Photo taken 3 days ago, now all are a soggy mess.

Raining again today, hoping that him upstairs remembers to turn "the tap" off!

No, we got the rain just not the deluge "M".........plants and I are very happy and quenched. Lager for me tho!
Sorry silo about your Peonies....they looked superb . We are at the mercy of the elements no matter how much care we lavish on our plants
