Well, the two new units are in and working already, and by hokey are they dragging the humidity out of the air; the one in the wee ones room has already had to be manually drained of condensate! Under normal circumstances, they will vent the condensate out with the warm exhaust air, but it is so warm here and so humid that they are battling. So far though, very impressed - even at full pelt they are a lot quieter than prior ones, and their 'silent' mode is very quiet indeed (although, not silent!) and certainly quiet enough to let you sleep.
Only 32.9 here today. It will be about 16C next week and probably raining. I've booked a week off so get your brollies out folks.
Warming up already, and I need to phone DeLonghi this morning - one of the new air-con units is not happy and keeps needing emptied of condensate.
