probably too late for this season but I'm toying with the idea of growing veggie plants and selling them at Alexandra Palace farmers market which is just around the corner from me.

I have the garden space to erect another greenhouse (which I already have) but wondering what the best sellers might be?

I know from experience that it can be difficult to 'break even' selling at farmers markets (pitch price, rain, grumpy people wanting bargains, or people admire what you're selling and don't buy).

If I were in your shoes -- Another business proposition would be to grow micro salads for restaurants, cafes and sandwich places. I'm doing this at the moment for the restaurant I work at - they pay! I grow salad cress, radish sprouts and mustard mixes -- seeds of which can usually be picked up in health food stores and there's lots of mixes to try. 'Micro salads' is an emerging trend for sure. Takes about 4-7 days to turn around a crop.Rocket salad is what every kitchen lusts after, have a look at my earlier posting.

The biggest outlay is trays, organic soil and proper printed marketing material. Start small and build an empire! Pop into a restaurant near to closing time, bring a sample punnet of what you're selling and ask to speak to the manager or preferrably the chef as he does all the ordering. Have a leaflet ready with your business name, contact details, prices etc.
