Hi all fellow green fingered people,

nice to see weather is improving, my sweet peas are about 8 inches tall and need to come out of the greenhouse, any thoughts on the best place to plant them?

Also does anybody know if a parafin heater will taint the taste of herbs, lettuces etc?

    Look forward to hearing.

    Baz

:thumb: Hi Baz & [IMG] to GC..!
You will need to harden the sweetpeas off first Baz... It is a bit early in my book to plant them out yet..! I pinch the tops out of my sweetpeas potted up in the greenhouse to keep them small & compact with good root systems, until ready to harden off & plant out...

    Hi Baz,

    Welcome to GC :gnthb:.

I know an excellent place for your sweetpeas - In my garden :hehe:. I'm only a half hour away from you so it wouldn't take long for you to bring them over :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Marley's advice is good :thumb:

I don't know what modern parrafin heaters are like bu I think that the parrafin may taint them because of the particulates that will be deposited in the greenhouse.

    Good luck :)
