    Well I don't think there is any more to say on this matter, except........

    :gnthb:Personally, now I have had a few days to look at it & get used to it..... I really like it... I don't think you could find a more apt photo... We are Gardeners Corner & Pals photo is a beautiful corner of his lovely country cottage garden...!!!!
    As for the white spaces, I think it adds an air of unclutteredness which the ads did sometimes make the old header look....

    I'm not sure I understand what all the fuss is about. There seems to be three things being discussed.

    1. Is the screen balanced? I can understand that it may look wrong to some but I can't really comment because my layout has not changed - apart from the logo. From what some of you have said it appears that it depends on your own screen settings :scratch:

    2. Do we like the new look? Again, nothing seems to have changed apart from the lovely photo of Pal's garden. :gnthb: To me a white background seems nice and clean and uncluttered but I'm sure that I would be just as happy with a pale green background :)

    3. Should we have a say in whether there are cosmetic changes? Who cares!!! :flag::D I'm on here for the content which I think is excellent. I have looked at other sites, most of which I find less attractive for one reason or another.

    In the long run, we are getting a free site that is very good and, I think, well run (albeit there may be some niggles) and am quite happy to let the 'powers that be' get on with it.

    I think it is good that Nathan has managed to get sponsors to pay for the site (and, I hope, make a little something extra for his trouble :)) and if they have peculiar conditions I don't really care. I never notice them anyway :rotfl::rotfl:

    After the initial shock of thinking I had done something to my computer again. :dh:
    ( the narrow panel and the white sides)
    I don't really care what it looks like ,just so long as it's there.
    As already said , it's the contents that counts.
    I would miss it.

    BM, yesterday it was 'unripe banana' green :). Today it has gone back to 'no banana' white :scratch:
