For those who are avid carrot growers, you probably know that the average price for carrot seeds most places is around £2 to £3 for around 1500 to 2000 seeds (who the hell counts them?!)
Marshalls seeds are selling a 15g packet (16,900 seeds) of "Autumn King" for £2.99, free delivery.
Bear in mind they last around 3 or 4 years.

I was so disbelieving I contacted their customer service (sad or what? haha), and they confirmed that was correct. NO - I am not going to count them haha, BUT the weight and size of packet, plus it states "16,900", shows there's one helluva lot!

After 12 years in South Yorkshire, and married to a Yorkshire lass, it's obviously rubbing off! haha

Hey scrungee! :) Thanks for the info. Is that for Autumn King (my fav variety), and free delivery? Some ****s have the cheek to charge for what's a simple 2nd class postage stamp.

Yes, the shipping appears to be free at the initial stage of their checkout, but I didn't go any further, I think it's only orders that include peas, broad beans, etc. that attract p&p charges.

They also do 25g of Autumn King 2 for only £2.60
