I googled garden forum way back in Sept 08 when I wanted to join a good forum to get hints and exchange tips on gardening. I think this was one of the first in the list and it looked well laid out, interesting and busy. :gnthb:

 

I googled gardening forums in uk and after a hour or so of peeking at them I decided that you were the best of the best of the best! - Jayne

I did a Google search for "Gardening Forum". GardenersCorner was the 2nd result. The 1st result was a rather badly formatted forum that was difficult to follow. I didn't bother to look at any other results as this forum seems to have everything I am looking for.

 

I googled gardening forum and you came 1st in the list, so here i am :yho:

I did a few different searches for plants - camelia, lupin, foxglove and buddleia to find out about them when planning my garden. You were up in the top 5.

I joined here and one other (both seemed user friendly layout) and stayed here because its not too cliquey (I dont feel I have to come here everyday for people to reply to my posts) but its also friendly too! Not an easy tightrope to walk, I think! I also love the fact everyone posts from their own experience so you get loads of differing advice to ponder on, but I have rarely seen a proper fall out! :-)

As a newbie i thought i should reply to this thread. I used google search engine and i searched for ' gardening forums' and you were top of the list. Congrats :gnthb:

 

I joined last year, when i googled specifically for a UK based gardening forum.

 

I was using Answer bank for qustions and was told to try this site:gnthb:

 

I was on the BBC gardeners world forum looking for an answer to a query, but couldn't find it (just people whinging about the new series, but lets not go there!)

So like most people, it seems, I googled and it came up with this place.

 

It was mentioned on a food forum I've been on for donkeys. There are a few gardening enthusiasts there. I paddled over last year. I can't tell you how helpful it's been.

 

I found this forum on Google and although this is my first post I have already found some of the answers I was searching for by just trawling through other peoples posts! Can't wait to get some more answers and tips!!
