    hi all
i havent had chance to have a proper look around yet but this seems to be a great site with some good tips.

well a bit about me im married with 6 children and we are about to move to a new house witch comes with a garden that is 115 ft long and 45ft wide which is great but we have never had a garden before (it is just a slab patio where we are now) so im feeling a bit daunted.

we are moving in the next 3wks or so im using that time to learn as much as possible.

well i look forward to meeting you all.

    jon

    Hi Jon,

    6 kids!!

The garden will be a piece of cake-and a chance for some peace and quiet. Enjoy the space for the first year whilst you get some ideas from the clever peeps on here.

Hi Jon and a warm welcome to you and your family.

Spring is the perfect time to be moving into a new garden. Take your time and wait to see what comes up that may already be there, a lot of perennial plants will be hidden under the soil and only just be starting into growth now. If you are not sure of the identity of what does appear, just post a picture in the Identification Area.
