Hi. A few years ago I bought some Spaghetti Marrow seeds from a private seller as they became almost impossible to find commercially. The ones I had used for years were a pale straw colour and produced a yellow skinned spaghetti marrow. These seeds were however black and produced a green and white striped/spotted marrow which had the most incredibly tough skin and which needed a lot more cooking. Can anyone please tell me what variety this was.
We might have one left which I could photo.

I found quite a few on Google just now, but I searched for "vegetable spaghetti SQUASH seed" rather than Marrow. T&M have one - not sure if its the one you want though - of course the T&M blurb says "Way better than the old fashions veg. spag. squashes ...." ;)

Thanks kristen. I have some T & M and some other seeds of the type that I really want. It was just that I would like to identify the ones with the black seeds. The flesh was not as spaghetti-like as the others but nevertheless quite worth the efort.
