re-sowing a blooming good tradition

Hello,

We are newbies and amateurs of the gardening World, but were hoping you could help with a question.

We are getting married in August next year and would love to have Orange Blossom at our wedding in the bouquets, as they are special to us. Everywhere we look says they bloom in Spring or Autumn. Do you know where / how we can get the flowers in August?

Hi and welcome. I'm sure the florists will be able to supply you, as many commercially grown plants are manipulated in a myriad of ways to trick them into blooming when they are not really supposed to.

As my signature suggests, I live amidst thousands of orange trees and I know they bloom almost continuously with one species or another .... flowering and producing new fruit whilst the old is still there.

There are almost always orange blossoms ... and what a delight it is to have it on your doorstep at all times ... it was the requirement for buying my cottage ... in the middle of the orange groves. So, I think I know where you may be coming from ....

However, I don't know how to resolve your requirement in the UK but I am sure clueless1 is correct and some florist or commercial establishment will be able to assist you.
