Pruning Buddlija

    I was told once to try pruning them at different periods at this time of year. Apparently it can lead to getting later blooms on the plant pruned last, but I've never tried it.

    The shakes have gone now I just hope the shrub forgives me

    Good point ... I think ProGard mentioned it last Autumn

    Interesting-I met the person who told me that last autumn. Wonder if she's a member here and read ProGard's comment.

    I'll try it when the cuttings I've taken get bigger.

    A good thread for buddleia fans......I've tried to take cuttings from B.Globosa without success. any feedback would be much appreciated!!

    I think it would be worth trying to keep some seed. I'll happily try to germinate some for you if you get any seed :)
