A Pensioner has Claimed she won the £113 million euro millions ,jackpot drawn 11 days ago-
But her husband (CHUCKED OUT THE WINNING TICKET). the woman who is in her 70s said she always takes a note of the numbers they take every week as her husband often loses tickets:mad:. when she checked the numbers she wrote down, against the winning numbers
they all matched. she then told her husband to get the ticket, he then informed her-
( HE HAD BINNED IT):mad:. they have been married for over 50 years
    they allegedly come from Coventry.
Camelot are investigating the womans claim. music .

Oh dear, I wonder if she did match all numbers? Things like this are easily done-we always get two tickets for Saturday night and I just happened to notice OH had mistakenly got one for Wednesday! It didn't make any difference :skp:

If she can tell them where & roughly when she bought the ticket then they can check the day roll on that terminal.

I agree. The sum is so over the top that the usual Lottery dreams of houses, travel etc... are quite off the mark. Just imagine, you could for example sort out the full educational system of a developing country, building schools, hiring external teachers to train local future teachers, in fact, changing the whole future for an entire nation. What a responsability!

And to think that this could be just because you chose some numbers on your way to Asda one day... the world is a weird place. So much cash to give away in one corner of it. :cnfs:

Actually, I have the winning ticket. Owing to an unfortunate laundry error, it was put through a boil wash in the pocket of my gardening jeans. The numbers are therefore unrecognisable. However, I have inked them in very clearly with a ballpoint and I'm sure the nice people at Camelot will be understanding.

Fishing boat, decent bit of land for creating allotments, small holding, large tract of woodland for coppice products/charcoal burning, plant nursery & a fish farm fed by the creatures from the adjacent water cress beds, small scale hydro electric/wind projects spring to mind.

Then, when i'd got good people running all of that, use the income from that to set up similar projects country wide untill we have a sustainable future to look forward too.

What would our members do with it ?

I stopped doing the lottery years ago, long before this article was published because there are far too many obscure, fashionable and "foreign" recipients.

A donation to guineapig farmers in South America, when WWll veterans' causes were refused, was the last straw. It seems causes mustn't be "too British."
I thought that was what it was all about with a "British" lottery.

Could someone explain why it needs such a very expensive piece of machinery to pick out what is supposed to be random numbers?
You could just use a bag and members of an audience.

The whole thing stinks of corruption.

I think that method would almost certainly receive accusations of corruption.

    Why????
When a computerised piece of clever machinery is programmed which numbers to pick out, its OK then.

My biggest "win" was on the pools, I was part of a syndicate with the barmaids at my squash club (I was bar treasurer at the time). We shared a win which was well into four figures,

    £12.84.
