Cactus

My wife has just bought some cactus plants in the hope that they may flower.

How often (and how much) do you water and feed them and what type of feed do we need to buy? Also, will these cactus flower and when will we have to transplant them to a bigger pot?

About 3 weeks between watering in spring and summer then hardly at all for rest of year.

I've not fed mine, the little beggars grow fast enough as it is

How much was the bowl if you don't mind me asking ?

As with most collections of cacti in a bowl you have an odd collection there, some will grow like the clappers other are slow.
Personally I'd split them as they look nice at the moment but a couple will outgrow the rest.

 

In the spring/summer months should we put them in the greenhouse as there's more sun and light in there or should we just put them on windowsill?

 

Well again different plants need different conditions, but on the whole you could get away with a window sill, but not too hot, sun yes but only part of the day I would say.

 

Speaking of cactus - the ones that Ive been mostly ignoring in the greenhouse have done this:
