I have started taking runners from it-I don't know what it is but I know what those nodules are for lol. They have already taken after only 4 days.

It is a basic houseplant but I would like to know which it is.

Quality of pic is shocking I know. It is succulent.

I was going to say, could you get a more blurry picture please - that one isn't dodgy enough!:D

Is it a Money/Jade Plant? I have one and yes, the leaves root very easily.

I think this plant is commonly known as Jade Plant or Money tree plant.
    Officially Crassula Ovata.

    Hiya Claire

It's definitely the Crassula (Jade Plant). They are best gown as a 'tree' and cuttings root very easily.

Here is mine now aged about 28, the baby of my sister's which must be about 40 years old ...

(sorry, mine is also a bad picture as it wasn't taken with the digital)

    ... and it blooming ...

They are in many gardens here and HUGE and the flowers completely cover the shrub although they do not flower for many, many years.

Well done, or lucky you Victoria. I knew they did flower but I've never got one to do it.

It has to be old to flower, I think mine was 22 or thereabouts as was my sister's. Mine did not bloom untill I brought it here so they may bloom quicker in a warm climate. I believe Marley has one that has bloomed, but again I believe hers is old also.

This Wikipedia link shows you how to encourage one to bloom ...
