Well, the holes are already there, lori, for the ashes, or you could use the bunkers for anything bigger.:dunno::heehee:

Reminds me of bit I read in a golf magazine. At the height of the craze to introduce a huge flood of 'elf n' safety regulations, a young female Trading Standards inspector was visiting either Wentworth or Sunningdale (I can't remember which), to check on something in the kitchen. Whilst she was there she looked out of the window. She turned to the club secretary and said pointing to the bunkers around the eighteenth green.
"Those will have to be fenced off."

Excuse me, we're all waiting somewhere at some point, I can think of worse places to wait.
As golf is excellent exercise, it's usually a long wait, compared with some.

I spent a couple of hours replacing the US style mail box by my front door which the carpet fitters had managed to damage when carrying rolls of old carpet out of the house. The replacement mailbox arrived this morning, so I sprayed it with red paint, renewed some wooden fitments on the post itself having to cut new pieces of wood, drill new holes, etc, but it's now in place. That will please the Postie as they like the mailbox because they don't trap their fingers in the letter box.:snorky:

This afternoon went to see keith and did a bit of die cutting for his cards.

Came back and walked the boys, then had dinner. Walked the boys again, i had berry. Managed to trip over the kirb and bruised and grazzed my knees and hands. I was a bit worried about my right knee because i fractured it last year in april, but it's fine.:phew:

I shouldn't be let out on my own.:snorky:

Sorry to hear about your fall.

For bruises, we swear by SBC's Arnica gel. We've used it for about twenty years whenever required.
My wife buys it from one of the shopping channels. 500mls is about twenty quid, but she waits for it to come on promotion.

Lordy, I haven't heard of arnica in nesrly 50 years! My old Auntie had it and would dole out these little, round, white pills if I had a bruise. Didn't seem to work for hickeys....:snorky: only turtle necks worked for those ;)

Yes it's been around for a long time. Can buy it as pills for our dogs if they've pulled a muscle, i don't know if it works.
As @Doghouse Riley has said, buy it in a gell in big bottles from QVC shopping channel.

I spent yesterday finishing of our smallest bedroom ceiling that I have had to lower and plaster board, has the original ceiling had a slight belly to it, looks great now, fitted new ceiling light and pull cord for light in the loft also new loft hatch.
So it looks ok when we put it up for sale.

We use Arnica cream and Arnica gel and Mrs Shiney makes the Arnica pills. :blue thumb: It's very good for aches, pains and bruises. A plastic surgeon that we know always recommends it to his patients to help them heal quicker. His comment 'I don't know what's in it, don't know how it works but patients that use it recover quicker'.
