More frustrating than driving me crazy, Gail. Just as you get ready to test the system the clouds move in:wallbanging::doh::gaah::heehee: Once the whole system is accurate on tracking and focusing a sharp image the settings can be left permanently as they are............it's just a case of time and patience:dunno::heehee:

Well, I bought the new, super duper computerised mount for the scope about 8 weeks ago, but what with the weather, work, life pressures, I seem to have been working in treacle trying to get the mount, the scope and the camera all properly calibrated. The skies need to be clear at night for me to fix on either the Moon or a Star. The Moon has been useless for the last few weeks due to rising and setting during the day and when the Stars have been visible along came the clouds.
Time and patience, time and patience.:sick0026::snorky:

You know the old saying "Stick with what you know best"...your other one gave off some great images :love30:….mind you life is a toll at times and this weather I find makes it harder :phew:

Time and patience...I must admit you must have a fair bit, as i'm short fused as the hubby says

Cool and cloudy today with a top temperature of 66f. It has tried to rain but really it amounted to just a few gentle drops that hardly wet the ground. So, at the moment, the temperature is 56f and the pressure reading is 995hpa:dunno::snorky:

Only a light shower late yesterday evening, no prolonged period of rain, no thunderstorms, not even damp under bushes, dry nearly everywhere when I got up at 5:00. Definitely not the monsoon that the Daily Express had been forecasting.

Back up to 30 deg C on Monday, no more rain this month.
