You can get it at the chemist, about 3 quid for 25ml, must be the good stuff at that price.:snorky:

I was not thinking you was having a "dig" @Freddy.

In answer to this I can only say that it is again down to "negotiation", you have to tell them we are prepared for a no deal situation otherwise you cant negotiate.

Which is basically what all the remain bunch in the government has stopped happening, they have undermined any negotiating strength we might have had at the start.
They have allowed the EU to sit back and watch our government, the house of common and the lords just rip themselves apart.

If we get a really bad settlement, IMO it will be down to , MPs , Lords and other privileged people who have put obstacles in the way at every opportunity, instead of getting behind those trying to get us a good deal.

No wonder the EU are laughing.

It seems clear to me that the EU are going to do what they do best - object and faff about and disagree until the very last minute, and then probably try and keep mucking us about for years thereafter (after all, that is what they would do if we stayed in!). If we are going to end up with a no deal Brexit, then I hold with my earlier thoughts that we should tell them where to shove it. now, and get on with sorting our own house out whilst waiting for them to blink. If they don't, so be it.

Maybe we should have a period like we did after the war to rebuild the country in terms of homes, agriculture, health and education.

Dont mention the war FC, it is old stuff, the EU are not interested in history.
But cant help wondering what most of them would look like now if Germany had had their way back then.
            Oh, hang on a minute.
I think they get most things their way now.
Wonder where it all went wrong?

Just when I thought we had got a Brexit negotiator with balls.

TM comes along and undermines him, stupid woman.

I hope he resigns now also, I know I would.

No, Ed's over in America making documentary films at the moment, pete.:heehee:

You could send the "Terminator" to negotiate with the EU Commission, pete, but they don't want to give any thing to the UK Brexit negotiations, even if he threatened "I'll be back". I don't think Michel Barnier is going to give way on any White Paper or other proposals because the EU Commission doesn't want to give Spain, Greece, Italy, or Portugal any further thoughts on leaving. So, in my opinion, we can negotiate all we like, with whatever proposals we have, and Barnier will say "No" because that is what he has been instructed to do.:dunno::coffee:

So if we hold back on the divorce settlement, they still wont make a deal?
We have to negotiate, we just cave in at every step, you could say we dont have any chips on our side, but they want our money.
The less we pay the more it costs Germany and France.

The EU contains a lot of lame ducks, mostly because the EU likes them for cheap labour, but they take a lot of money out of the pot.

They want our long term money, pete:dunno: The one off divorce settlement money will just disappear into the maws of the EU and will be forgotten the year after.

I agree, but Germany and France will/have resign[ed] themselves to that fact. They'll probably cut back on financial help to the lesser members while trying to raise their payments to the EU.:coffee::snorky:

Think the plan was always for TM to lead the final charge (light brigade springs to mind). Raab seems completely OK with it so that tells me all I need to know about his ability as a negotiator.
I think the deal is understood and done barring the signatures, we just haven't been informed
