      Wall to wall dark grey low cloud trundling in from the Northwest, a slight warm breeze, and enough light rain to give 1.5mm, while the temperature managed to get to 65f. At the moment the temperature is 59f, it's not raining and the pressure reading is 996hpa, with winds and rain forecast over the next 48 hours.:coffee::snorky:

                    Since late morning the sun has come out making for a beautiful day ....increasingly windy though.
                    I'm wondering how many of my dahlias, heleniums, cannas, etc., will still be standing as tall by mid week!! :gaah: It is a walled garden so :noidea::noidea::noidea:

                        A grey morning and really quite cold. The kids needed (wanted) the fire on.
                        By early morning the temps where rising, I think it was about 20 by the days end.

                            Yesterday turned out quite hot and just reached 80F/26.7C. 66F at the moment and rather breezy.

                            I haven't checked the veg plot but the bean plants are extremely heavy this year so may be in some danger from the strong winds coming off the fields. Hopefully the combination of canes, poles, wires and string will be enough to combat it.

                            Forecast is sunny and warm.
