Mutated Rosemary

    If the rosemary starts to develop a large flower, a long stamen with a sting on the end and starts walking around your garden just get the hell out of there.

      I don't see any reason why it couldn't grow from the rosemary if a seed landed on it.

      On a larger scale, I have a 10ft field maple growing out of a junction in my willow tree 15ft from the ground. The roots of it are at least 5ft long as I can see them coming down from above, through the centre of the tree, in the large hole that woodpeckers have been enlarging after a big branch came down in the '87 hurricane.

      Those GC members that have been to my garden can probably remember the 'woodpecker' hole (it's about 12" x 30").
