I don't like fruit!

Lost my front tooth due to a pineapple

 

The inevitable question - how?

 

Bit into a slice, and my top tooth went the wrong side of the lower one

Had to finish it off with a pair of pliers

 

I just love fruit too.

Peaches and Cherries when in season.
Banana every day for breakfast sometimes raspberries or blueberries on my porridge.
Mid morning Apple ,lunch grapes or tangerines for desert ,dinner in evening sometimes melon and or grapes for desert.
Strawberries when in season.
Occasional grapefruit and pears.

I never have constipation lol.

 

I think cherries when in season are probably the most fruit I eat, followed by grapes.

I wonder if the Sharron fruit sold in the UK is a different species? I got a 'Fuyu' tree, which was, I think, one of the first varieties crossed to breed out the astringency. The one fruit I've had so far must have been pretty ripe, because it really was just like Rowntree's orange jelly
Talking of chestnuts, the gale yesterday brought down lots of the prickly Bs, so donning thick gloves tomorrow to shell them!

That's them! Those prickles even go through rose pruning gloves! I made the mistake of leaving the husks in the border the first year. Shan't do that again!
