Talking of brakes - I nearly went through the windscreen when I replaced my 307 with the 308. Brakes are much better than the 307 - yet the 307 still passed the MOT.

I knew a bloke who had hair like that years ago.
We called him carpet head, dunno why.

 

It's a six but she can corner almost as fast as the straight. The overdrive is mega. On the 400 series highway up at 130 I'm still just over 2000 on the tach. Thank goodness for the dead peddle to steady ones self, on the corners. She hugs the road the faster you go.

Now, the cuda has a 440-6. Nother experience.

But my dead pedal gets in the way if I drive wearing my work boots, go to push the clutch in and the side of my boot catches on it.
Not enough room down there.

 

I wear size 5 1/2 so no issue. Had fun with a Cadillac CTV 6 gear model. Loads of fun. I am somehow resticted on this forum so I can't add emojins but if I could, it would be wiley coyote with a rocket pack on his back.

Lighter means better handling - simples! Lower overall mass, lower centre of gravity and better weight distribution. Improve it even more (without losing ride quality) by fitting some quality uprated shock absorbers.

Before they got took over they were great, manger's were the best, they got took over, manger left (because of take over) thinks went down hill, but one good thing happern, the manger strated up his own company a few years later, now he has a good business which i now use

When I click to post, the whole typing area turns yellow and tnere are zero options for adding smileys etc. Something changed in the last month. Maybe admin didn't like something. Who knows!
