It seems that all of my daffs, tulips and crocus have started popping their heads out of the ground( and at a friends house where I took the pic of the snow drop), I don't recall them being this early last year, but then I do have an awful memory for a 27 year old :lollol:.

Is this due to the mild weather? Are your bulbs makeing an appearance? or is this normal bahaviour?

I'm asking as this will only be my second bulb growing season :)

mild weather? :) All my bulbs are a bit later this year than the last couple of years, as we have had a very cold month. Snowdrops just starting to come out but no sign of the crocuses yet.

The green bits are showing but no flowers yet, as John says, not even the snowdrops.

    Slow going here too guys.

Our grape hyacinths are popping up all over but then again they do tend to make themselves aware months in advance of the flower heads, the few snowdrops we have are not quite budding up yet, our tulips are just popping through the ground but there is still no signs of our daffs nor crocuses yet. Hel.xxx.

These are some of the snowdrops we transplanted nearly two years ago when we were having some building work done in the garden. We had to transplant a few thousand

The ones in this bed have been in flower for three weeks but most of the others are either just showing a touch of white or just green stems.

    These are just coming out

Alliums don't come up yet. :thmb:

No flowers here yet , but the bulbs are growing fast.
    I love snowdrops.
I love the spring and it's flowers.
After all the dark dull drab days to look out of the window and see the bright fresh flowers of spring lifts me so much.
    I can't wait. :yho:

Hi Aaron-my alliums are just this week starting to show their tips-and only three or four at that-at least in my garden. Got a few snowdrops out and the daffs will start to open up probably next week I reckon if it doesn`t freeze on me-although maybe one particularly sprightly beauty might surprise me and open before the weekend.
