Thanks @Beckie76 :) will be nice to get the main works finished this year. We might be able to buy a field this year and so will have that to sort out...(might even have enough space for some rescue hens so will be looking to you for advice) :)

                Great. Fantastic!!

Tell me/us. Is this all of your own planning and design, or have you engadged a garden designer.

Now I have mentioned before that I have a bit of a devilish snse of humour. May I. Please please don't be offended.

Here goes.. I was amazed to see how you have managed to seperatly plant your grass plants in the lawn. Hey! now's there's a sight for sore eyes. In the corner, doing some bricklaying. Is that, 'Builders bummicas, variagatus? Wowee. There in the center of the lawn. Two great specimems of. Lounger varicarpus.

This is going to be one great fantastic garden when completed. Well done. Best wishes.

Hi Mike, no offence as i have no idea what you mean! - “Separately plant grass plants in the lawn?!?” Lol do you mean where the grass is recovering after being destroyed in the drought over the summer? There were huge cracks all over where I have actually fallen down and hurt my ankle! Have gone through the process of filling in the cracks, raking and reseeding to try get it to recover....we’ll get there eventually.

The back part of the garden is all my design. The bit in the middle (with loungers sat there) was the previous owner. I really can’t stand it and want to get rid of it. It had a huge metal OTT pergola and a statue of a nake lady-not our style at all!!! They went on ebay straight away lol

The loungers are there for the time being (since the builders were here over the summer). but the plan is to have them on the patio at the back when the raised beds have grown up and given some privacy.

I'm ok, thank you for asking. Truthfully, I just got fed up with all the unpleasantness that was going awhile back. I thought after a few months away it would have settled down/been sorted, but when I signed I yesterday I realised it appears to have gotten even worse :hate-shocked:.

I have been busy over the past few months doing these, plus a few more. I've got several ideas planned for the future, including rabbits and sunsets, with waterfalls, sunrise and more. I'd like to start painting other animals too, cats, dogs, hedgehogs, rats, etc, etc. I've been accepted for a spring exhibition at an art gallery in Bangor, so trying to get organized for that. Also, a local arts and crafts shop has some of my stuff and I need to start thinking about Easter very soon. I make large and small coasters as well using ceramic tiles with acrylic poured designs. Not had much spare time for gardening.

@luciusmaximus so love your bunny paintings, fantastic talent you have. Good Luck with the exhibition and hope you manage to sell lots if you put any in the exhibition for sale:smile: I can see these bunny pictures being made into various types of cards, for birthdays etc:smile:

I know what you mean about the nastiness,I dislike it immensely so tend not to get too involved with it.

I see there are a couple of nice properties for sale at South Stack, one being quiet a bit expensive and as Mr Kandy says it is ok apart from getting blasted by the winds coming off the sea in the winter months, but the nice bungalow looks appealing.Whenever we stay in North Wales the air to us is so fresh we sleep well and my eyes never run with tears but as soon as we are back home, our village stinks of burning chimneys that smell like smells we had in the sixties from the coal fires in the houses:yikes:

Glad to see you back now and look forward to seeing some more of your beautiful paintings:dbgrtmb:

Thank you Verdun :). I would say you are an artistic genius where gardens are concerned, a horticultural version of a modern day Monet :).

@Kandy Thank you for your kind words :). It's funny you should say that about cards and prints as Helen, who stocks some of my paintings, mentioned the same thing. I'm not sure about, wonder if the paintings might lose some of their individuality if mass produced. I've just started working on some sunset rabbit paintings and thinking about Easter bunnies :snorky:.

South Stack tends to get hammered by the winds, it's very exposed and few trees will tolerate the conditions. Amazing sea views though.

@Snorky85 the area where the lounges repose reminds me of a giant sundial. :)
