I use a different email address for all the different areas of my life. All with different names. One for banking, one for jobsearching, one for Friends of Square Park and one for gaming. They are all Gmail cos it is reliable and can be accessed from any device.

Feel sure I am talking to the converted, but assume you have done various scans on your PC to make sure there are no bugs and have strong AV etc protection?

Also, because of your mail hacking, wise to weekly or more often check the status on any online financial sites to ensure all the transactions are yours.
( you could use a dedicated 'clean' laptop for just such transactions, ie nothing else on there other than the OS,AV and browser, not even email.)

You can get a free credit reports like Call Credit /Noddle which may show any unusual credit check requests etc

More or less all done @ricky101 - AV protection is ESET, with Malwarebytes, Avast for mobiles and no financial transactions done on mobiles at all.

All passwords on everything, including email, changed again. and I do not do financial transactions by email either - it is purely email that has been hacked, nothing else. The interception is not happening at my end though - this is squarely in Virgin's court, and I am in contact with them. This time, I have evidence to pass to them which may help them, and that is squirrelled away on my GMail account and my work email servers. Oh, and credit reports, financial checks all done :)
