This is true, when times are good most workers are prepared to accept the fact that foreign workers are here, its a case of "if I'm doing OK I'm not Bovvered".

Mention redundancies country wide and it all starts to rankle.

I'm not sure, but isn't Total French anyway.

If so, can we expect anything different.

The world is so mixed up these days, most British companies are now foreign owned.
It used to be the other way around.

Something is dragging us down the pan.

When was it ever 'New' Labour?:skp::D

Pete, yes Total is French but they sub contracted to a US comany who sub contracted to an Italian comany, the reason can only be financial.

6ft of snow will take our minds off all this doom and gloom.:D

Its not going to be that bad Strongy, it looks like Sunday night/Monday might be a bit dodgy, Tuesday it gets a bit warmer, enough to turn any showers to rain.

    I hope so anyway.:D

My maternal ancestor's came over with Billy of doubtful parentage whilst my paternal ancestor's were probably Viking.

    I'll pack my case.

I`ll get my stuff too, my Nan was Irish, my Grandad was Scottish, and there`s some Austrian in me somewhere back. I`m a mongrel, in fact we all are. Kick the lazy dole dossers out and there`ll be plenty of room.

You'd be hard pressed to find a Brit who doesn't have some foreign blood running through his or her veins.
