          Although I had to go out for most of the day yesterday I managed to mow some more lawns - even managed to stay off the painkillers :heehee:. That just leaves the orchard/wild area to do. :blue thumb:

                Been another busy day what with one thing or another....grrrrrr families!!!!

                Managed to squeeze a little bit of weeding in but now would like a quick dose of heavy (ish) rain before I do a final mulch......no pleasing me is there:lunapic 130165696578242 5:

                  Finally finished varnishing and put it outside, I have my sweet peas in there all potted up, also cleaned up my hanging baskets and a bit of weeding done too, I’m going to try and cut the lawn on my afternoon off tomorrow.

                    Another frosty start but it will be a nice day.

                    I'm pleased I gave up on my admin after four hours on the phone yesterday :phew:. I got some gardening in and it made me feel better. Of course that now means I still have some admin to do :noidea:.

                    I finally got my negotiations with BT in writing from them after a lot of mix ups. We now have our landline and broadband on an 18 month contract. Phone with unlimited weekend calls (have another phone with unlimited Anytime calls) and free caller recognition plus unlimited fibre broadband for a total of £21 per month. The silly thing about it was the main price was £49.99 pm but an 18 month contract on the broadband brought it down to £39.99. Then if I 'asked' for the phone to be on their Line Rental Saver (same contract period as the broadband with added extras) it brought it down to £21. :scratch: So, ask for extra services and you get it cheaper!!! :doh:

                    I also successfully renegotiated our holiday insurance - it gets progressively more expensive as you get older, especially if you have any chronic conditions :old:

                    Then I had to sort out a safety problem at the village hall. :yikes:

                    Otherwise I did nothing.

                      Another fairly busy day today, hopefully will get another of the big borders sorted this morning in readiness for its final mulch. This afternoon going over to cut my great nephew's hair ... 23 months old and another wriggler!! But soooo cute!!:heehee:

                      Have to go and unfleece the greenhouse house in a moment as temps dipped to -2 last night...... We're not out of the winter woods yet!
