          Really a grand day. My car is due for its MOT & service next week so I decide to clean the car out. I also had ideas of giving it a wash down. I park in a disabled bay, that I fought hard to get installed. Now a lot of crows and magpies perch on the overhead bar and. ''Bombs Away''. Even before I'd finished vaccing inside, I was itching like hell and burning up. Vac away and forget the car wash. The rash had now developed into what looked like shingles. I had this bad in 1984. The itching becomes painful. I took an antihistamine and zonked out. So yes. I will make an appointment to see the quack. Hope you all had a better day.

                    Another frost last night but nowhere near as heavy as previous days. 38F now and sunny. It will be a hot day.

                    @Mike Allen sorry to hear about your shingles. You need to tell reception that and they should fit you in for an emergency appointment. It needs to be caught quickly. We both received letters from our surgery yesterday offering shingles injections. The letters didn't actually say whether it was to protect against shingles or give it to us! :doh:

                              The wind has dropped at last! A mixture of cloud and sunny spells today but the temperature is dropping this evening ahead of the snow promised this coming Tuesday. 'Lamb snow' - the first of which are just being born here. 11C/52F today, currently 4C/39F and dropping.
