Temporary fix for borders

    How about adding some winter beding around your pots for a splash of colour ( pannsies , violas )
    and maybe some spring bulbs ( daffs , tulips ) bought from your local garden centre that are up and running already in pots.

    Ok, anybody who wants foxgloves (+ other perennials, possibly) pm me, let's see if we can arrange something. I also need to check how they did with the terrific freezing temperatures we had, from the window they seem ok, but I need to give a closer look. I have not had the heart to go in the garden much lately. Farewells hurt.

    Hi Clueless,I even have Dahlia Bishops Children in pots they do very well,Bindweed keeps appearing in my borders no matter what i do.Clematis are good in pots too.Tip from Kew Gardens,ease bindweed into plstic bag and spray Roundup into it stops it going on nearby plants.Joyce
