hello i'm new to this forum and i must admit i don't really know what i'm doing :dh:i'm not very good at finding answers to questions on computers in fact it took me ages to find this forum!!! I'm not too bad at gardening, i just like to potter and dabble but must admit i'm chuffed pink and full of pride when things grow :yho: I have a question and hope I've put it in the right place! I have a gooseberry bush - ido i have to cut it back or is it too late to cut it now

 

No-prune it in a month or two and it`ll be fine-this could get confusing, my name is shortened to lol at times.

To Lollipop - thanks for the advice - I'll put the secateurs away for a while. Your right this could be confusing with our names :cnfs:

 

If it is well established you could do it now, they are as tough as old boots and if it`s damaged by a frost just pink it back to the net bud back. It isn`t good horticulture but sometimes the best time to do a job is when you remember to LOL (thats just to mix it up even more)
