Hi Everyone I am so annoyed With the DVLA ,Recently One of my Sons Decided to change jobs and go Bus driving,He duly had his strict medical in London and Passed,he filled all the necessary Forms in and ticked all the Right Boxes,His Company paid and all his training was done on site at his main Depot,he then took 4 theory tests over 6 weeks and then passed his Practical bus driving test, this took him 6 weeks a lot of time and effort.this was in November,he has been driving his Bus for 6 weeks now solo ,and still hasn't received his Bus Driving License,He has phoned DVLA 4 times and they said that they were short staffed and would deal with it as soon as that could clear the Back log of work up,Now his Company have said to him If he cannot produce it by the end of the week They will take him off the road and he will be out of a job, surely it is their responsibility to chase The DVLA up or at least make some Enquiries on his Behalf.Signed Angry from Kent:hehe:

That's just passing the buck Woo, they should get on to DVLA themselves who are incompetent at best and are using shabby excuses.

Surely if his employers paid and supported him through his training then they already know he's passed and just waiting for it to come through, your son shouldn't be penalised for the dvla's inability to do their job or his employers inability to use the phone themselves.
