Bottom View

Erm...whenever I move from page to page, or press refresh, the bottom instead of the top of the page is displayed. Have I inadvertently selected some option or other for this?

Thanks MF, if it isn't happening to you then it is definitely something that I have done. Don't know what though

 

Very odd...it seems to have stopped now. :cnfs: If it comes back again I will let you know.
BTW, I have set the skin to classic style, if that is what you meant.

 

This happens to me occasionally.

Just go to the bottom left of the page where you will find "Display Options".
Make sure the option under "Sort Order" is Descending as then the threads with the newest posts will be at the top.

 

Thanks Daisees. I always tick the Descending option, but this is only available when thread lists are displayed under a topic, however the problem seem to occur mostly when clicking the Gardener's Corner logo, and there is no display options on the front page, or within threads. It seems to come and go, but is a bit irritating when it happens.

 

Wouldn't be IN a thread. If it's the posts are showing up back to front then you need to check in your UserCP>Edit Options>Thread display mode and change it there.

 

That seem to have done the job daisees, thank you. The strange thing is that I set it on descending ages ago, and it seems to have changed all by itself!!

 

Must say when I looked earlier, I was getting bottom of the page and now I'm getting top and I certainly have not changed anything .... :cnfs:5

Not just you Blackthorn! Me too. If LoL is getting sometimes then we can be assured we're doing nothing wrong. Maybe it just likes to keep us on our toes??

Evening Blackthorn and borrowers ...

The one thing I do know is that if you click on the title of the thread, ie this, Bottom View, you will go to the top of the page .... but if that thread is umpteen pages long then you have to go to the last page to read the current post. However, if you click on the little blue icon to the right of the last poster's name in Today's Topics (at this point in time it will be mine), you will go to the bottom of the page, ie, to this post, the last one.

Even knowing these things, there was some divine intervention going on earlier for sure .... :hehe:
