      Hi,

I pop on here occasionally for a laugh because politics is now a huge joke.

      Here's something really interesting; a promise that will be kept;

Tomorrow I'll be in the workshop where sanity still rules.

      Kind regards, Colin.

Trusting the weather forecast... now THAT'S risky!

1900 will bring new cringeworthy moments, utter diatribe, a fanciful interpretation of economy and capability. In honesty I can't bring myself to watch the regurgitated sound bites between bojo and JC, Swinson has already given up (her polls are so weak it's embarrassing and she's lining up cases for partnering in place of going for the win; she has no faith in her own promises and ability) and every damned word from the Krankee drives me insane.

Fancy living in Scotland Andy? :heehee:

Polling cards arrived today, along with a personally addressed leaflet from the Lib Dems. They obviously can't work out where I live. What a waste of paper that was!

Mine arrived on Wednesday, Sheal, along with that letter from my "changed parties" MP asking me to vote for her, who has as much chance as the Sun coming out and the temperature reaching 80f by midnight tonight.:dunno::cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

Maybe a bit pedantic but Scotland is a Country and not a "region" :blue thumb: that has as you said been let down badly by two incompetant governments.

I think Loofah was referring to the area where Sheal is rather than Scotland as a whole, Wee Tam, but, either way, his observation of Sheal's immediate area and the whole of Scotland both being let down by both Governments rings true. I've been to West and East Scotland several times and it's a beautiful country, but the Outer Hebrides is a place where I stayed for nearly a year and that place takes my breath away.:love30:

Quote from the BBC News Chanel

Jeremy Corbyn has defended his decision to adopt a neutral stance in a future Brexit referendum as "a sign of strength" and "maturity".

More like a sign of a dithering idiot mate!

A so called Political Leader who states that he would be neutral in a situation like Brexit is like the man who states.........

I always tell the truth, and I am lying now:dunno::wallbanging:

His statement that he would be neutral after his three and half year long attempts to block Brexit just makes him a laughing stock and, probably his three stooges, who sit on the front bench with him in Parliament, cringe. But his desire to have his framed picture hanging on the wall at No.10 is giving him illusions of grandeur and God like wisdom that make him looking a bit sad.

You may be as pedantic as you like but it's still a region!

That defence from JC was, I think, a comment from a member of the audience that he has clearly hijacked!

Here you go @Loofah. Even though you've just bought a house, it doesn't get better than this. Not a politician in sight.
