Solved I Think This May be a Weed?

    I sprinkled some of a box of wildflower seeds into a pot last year and had some lovely cornflowers and other bits and bobs throughout the summer. Was going to do the same again this year but this yellow tinker is taking up almost the whole pot - with some bits of a campanula persicifolia that I divided up last year peeking through too. I'm thinking it's most likely a weed but does anyone know for sure please? I've done a fair bit of Googling to try to find out but nothing has been conclusive so far. Thanks.

        I think it's a sonchus species, one of the smooth sow thistles or hares lettuce

          Thank you - I think you're right yes. I didn't find that in my initial Googling I don't think but can see now that it's probably one of those yes. It's good to know what things are .... even if I'm destroying them ;) :thumbsup:
