    Hi all.
Only just found this site, the last site i used for gardening stuff was "Gardeners Click" but that site closed down about two years or more.
Can anyone help identify an absolutely beautiful tulip that sprung up. I have contacted the web site i bought some tulips off but they have not replied just yet.
I am confident the tulip is either Double Flaming Bird or Double Flaming Parrot but its the coloured leaves that's my issue. My order says its Flaming Bird but according to images on the web that tulip is red and white.
Please have a look at the photo. Tulip Red Yellow.jpg

Simlar as mine don't know the name though sorry IMG_20200423_130658.jpg

Some of mine were yellowy and red others were whitish and red but none of those lovely leaves.
But all my tulips front and back garden got
covered in green fly so bad some flowers didn't manage to bloom fully (the more average
single colour ones) did try soapy water and just flicking them off

Welcome to Gardeners Corner Andy. :) Sorry I can't help you with the tulip but someone amongst our friends here will be able too.

      Hello.
I have had a really nice email from the web shop I bought the tulip off and they confirmed its a Tulip Double Flaming Bird. They said the colour can vary slightly from yellow to white. Thanks for your reply.

      Wow! Treasure it.
      They charge £10.00 per bulb.
Site below very slow to open.

Tulip 'Double Flaming Bird' | Van Meuwen

Quote...."A hugely flamboyant tulip which is twice the size of most other tulips! These unusual, fully double tulip flowers appear in mid to late spring, starting as a cluster of green outer petals, with the centre petals emerging in contrasting red and white for a truly eye-catching and exotic display."
