Hi, anyone know how to plant California Lilac piglet blue or cascade? Some website says the soil requirements are sand or loam. Does it mean I need buy some sand to mix my current soil? Can anyone advise how to plant and maintain until it is established?

    Californian Lilac > Ceanothus.

Hardy to frost hardy. Fertile well drained soil, tolerant to alkaline. Full sun, protect from harsh winds. May become chloretic on shallow chalk soils.
