Could someone please identify this Shrub for me?

I hope you are well.

I have another Shrub that needs identifying, I have done some searching and came up with 'Black Cohosh' but I am not sure if that is correct.



Any suggestions?

Hi Kevin, it looks like Actaea simplex, formerly known as Cimicifuga.

 

With dark leaves try Actaea simplex "Brunette."

Thanks for the replies and the identification, it is indeed as you stated

I think I am almost done with the identifications, there are a few more but I need to wait for them to flower before I can be annoying again, not that I will wait that long
