    I'm happy it's a birch yes, especially as we lost one a few years ago in strong winds. I am tending to it like a small child! hahaha.

      I'll be keeping it in a pot for the time being and will pot it on as and when it needs it. I have an area in mind for it to go but I need to do some work on the hedge line
      before it gets sited. I have even been tempted to keep it as a potted tree and try (hahaha) to keep it small.

        She was a lovely one ☺
        Our cat is Holly and she's 16.
        We've noticed that she's a bit arthritic up and down stairs but she still enjoys life and loves being in the garden on sunny days.. Unusually for a cat she also likes going out in the rain, and gets under the patio table!
