    £549 ......Jeez.

    I do the maintance on a few old houses and when replacing old panes have always used horticultural glass, enough flaws and imperfections that for one or two panes it looks ok although not quite that effect.

    Charlecote House again today to glaze a new doorway we created in the Orangery Restaurant..

    And this Vulcan on the nearby Wellsbourne Airfield that I thought was just a 'shell',is being started and taxied on Sunday at 2pm...My mate is a fireman and will be in attendance just in case

    I almost managed to get the capping on this Lantern befor the heavens opened up:dh:but at least the inside stayed dry:ntwrth:there are far too many expensive items below!

    Yesterday started bright and clear at Edgehill.....and up there it was sun tan stuff:)

    I really have enjoyed reading your thread..what an amazing job you have and being able to work on such wonderful properties...please can you tell me why that baby lamb was in that iron railing ring..that looked awful..is there a reason for doing that ?

    littleorme,:D the circle is a feeder and the lamb squeezed into it to get at the fresh grass,and because it must have been cool in there on what was a very hot day:)

    I was working in a village called Latton today,not that far from Fairford. I had the pleasure of being distracted by the aircraft going through their paces in ready for the Air Show this weekend...Guess who forgot to take his camera??:doh:

    Fancy living here?
    Our company built this last year,and the owner still can't move in until she can sell the house she is in now:dh:I did the 12 month snagging list there this morning and struggled opening windows that haven't been opened since I glazed them!

    Only a half day today at work...I'm going on a private tour of a very Royal garden later:wink:
